Can someone explain to me why Frank Wren insist on signing Mike Hampton?? If he signs for the league minimum than fine but a penny more is just plain stupid. I'm sure he can't sign for the league min considering his major league service but how many times do you have to be burned by someone before you let them go. |

I think we should sign mike but like you said to league minimum. Mike was getting better and is a good fifth guy but that is it. I doubt Mike will get anything more than minimum. |

This will show alot about Hampton. The Braves have stuck with him for a long time now and he can do reward them just as they rewarded him. After all he has received a tidy sum the past few years without throwing a pitch until this year. |
