Is the day for stunning revelations from the Braves? Now Smoltzie is saying, according to ESPN.com, he is willing to play elsewhere if it doesn't work out with the Braves.

He is open to other offers.

He knows he didn't meet the 200 innings that would have kicked in the 2009 option that was in his contract.

Ya I seen that but today on peachtree is said that is not what he said. ESPN took the article and spun it to what would get readers to read it. John said he is dedicated to the braves and no one else but if the braves do not want him then he would have to sign else where.

Go figure. The typical ESPN spin to a story that showed the real Smoltz and it seems if Smoltz was a greedy person.
