Glavine won't need TJ surgery

Upon being examined by Dr. Andrews in Birmingham, Glavine won't need TJ surgery since the ligament is not torn but he will have surgery on the other problem he has been having, the rehab on that is only 4 to 5 months compared to the 12 to 18 months on TJ surgery.

I bet Dr. Andrews is tired of seeing Braves players coming down to Birmingham. He has done in the last 2 yrs or less surgery on the following Braves players: Gonzo, Smoltz, Moylan, Huddy, and now Glavine. If I am not mistaken, did he not do Kelly Johnson's TJ surgery also.

Maybe we need to just put Dr. Andrews on the payroll.

Here is a thought, what if Hammy had Dr. Andrews do his TJ surgery, maybe he would have returned sooner?

We have kept Dr. Andrews busy this season for sure.
