Rome's Rohrbough comes close to a no-hitter

Cole Rohrbough pitched 8 innings of no hit ball, finally allowing 1 hit. He struck out 7 and walked 3 over the 8 innings. The only run the Crawdads scored was unearned.

Got to say this, our minor league pitchers have stepped it up this season, either pitching no hitters or coming close to pitching one.

As for the Freddy Freeman, he smacked his 18th homer of the season, which was a 2 run blast, then he added a RBI triple on top of it. Heyward, he added 3 hits to the party and scored twice.

We got some studs coming up in the minors. Rohrbough has been fighting a ankle injury all season but has learned to pitch through it.
