No, it's not really anything special. It's just a step between a Master's and a Doctorate. (And about a $3,000 difference in pay annually.)

I just got home from my first official day as a teacher. The students come on Wednesday. I'm so tired.

Oh, I'm sure there will be plenty. The high school is 7-12 grade, and I'm teaching all of the 7th graders and half of the 8th graders. So, the little 7th grade kiddies will be scared to death when they first start, so that should be interesting. We have open house Monday night, so I'll be meeting a lot of parents.
