Can anyone tell me why these 3 are wasting roster spots. They have no future with this team. People like Josh Anderson, Phil Stockman, Brandon Jones, and others can get some Major League experience. I'm sure they will be brought up in September but these guys have already had their option used for this year AND Richmond is in LAST place so I know they aren't being held back for IL playoffs. So what's it hurting bringing up them up??

Corky was sent down. Tavarez because we need veteran pitchers () and Norton....because we have no one to play OF.

Taverez...I'll never understand that one...

I don't mind Norton too much. He's not horrible.

Corky....well, he's a backup catcher for ya.

Doubt we'll see any of them next season anyway.

Ha that is interesting Corky gets designated the same day I posted this. It's about time. He was about as good as a AAA backup catcher. I think the Braves should do what the Nationals did today. Drop the dead old weight! Nats released Lo Duca, Estrada and Lopez. I like to see the Headline Braves Release Norton and Tavarez. Let's get Anderson and Stockman up here and see what they have. If they are giving up on the season we don't need a 36 year old back up 1b/of who hits .250. Nor a 35 year old worthless RP who has walked 18 people in 26 innings! I'd rather see Jo Jo Reyes put up those kind of stats who still has a future with this team unlike Tavarez.
