said I would have given Gregor Blanco the starting job in CF and never traded for Kotsay.

As a leadoff hitter, Gregor is hitting .275 with a .370 OBP and 6 stolen bases while playing solid defense.

said Yunel was a .280-.290 hitter and not the stud he showed last year

so far Yunel is hitting .283 and is showing zero power, exactly as I pointed out

said Kala was the real deal despite his high strikeout totals

Since May first Kala has been his old self. June and July he's hit over .300 with an OPS over .940.

I know I had more but I can't remember. What were some of yours for the season??

That Wainwright was better than Davies.

That the Teixera trade was terrible for us.

I really wish we had Wainy. I remember the bs reason we got for trading him too. "Braves management has fear that his height will interfere with his mechanics". WTF??

The teix trade was bad. I keep hearing how it was a gamble that didn't pay off (which is partly true) but a) we got deseperate and b) we didn't need more offense...

I couldn't agree more.

I recall saying that Glavine was going to be a bust this year...

And he pitched dreadfully, and then goes on the DL for the first time in his career, twice.

Joining the other 47 people we've had go down to injuries this year...

Oh yeah, while this is not related to baseball I also said that USF would be a national power in NCAAFB soon. Now I know that they ended poorly and one very good year doesn't make them a national power per se, but how many other people came out and said that? I just hope they aren't this years Rutgers and I don't think they will be. They are a very popular team down here and a lot of the recruits will be picking them over state and the U. Plus they play in the very weak Big East. That was an intentional joke for you Nite. :sar:

Glad you put the sarcasm alert. I probably wouldn't have caught that. I have been a big fan of USF, when they dont beat WVU ( :curse: ) Right now, they are the second best team in Florida.

They are definitely the second best team in Florida and will only get better. FSU and UM aren't the glamor destinations they used to be since they've stopped winning.

Kotsay has not been a bad addition be any means. Yes gregor is tearing the cover off the ball right now but what happens when the pitchers adjust will he be able too.

Davies just plain sucked thats all i have to say about that.

Tom well I was hopping for more than what he has given us but what can you do.
