WOW!!!!! Redskins loses DE Daniels and turn right around and make a HUGE trade with the Dolphins to get Jason Taylor. Talk about the Dolphins dismantling the team and starting from scratch. Redskins get Taylor for Two drafts picks, a 2nd round in 09 and a 6th round pick in '10. I think the 'Skins just robbed the 'Phins blind on that deal. Taylor fits in, money wise, under their salary cap too. It seems the 'Skins had $9M under the cap, Taylor is scheduled to make $8.1M this season. Executive VP of the Redskins Vinny Cerrato made a nice move and with Taylor being a vet, he is going to bring leadership to this team immediately. Skins' fans got to thrilled by this trade. |

Well I'm sad to See him go he was our best player then we get rid off him. Good for Jason though cause we are going to really really suck this year. |

i wouldnt say the fins got "robbed"..i would've preferred a 1st rounder, but they werent getting that at this point, and the fins are in a huge rebuilding project. taylors got 1, maybe 2 years left, and the dolphins arent going to go .500, much less contend, in the next 2 years. |

Yeah, the Dolphins didn't get robbed at all. We got rid of a disgruntled player who didn't want to be with the team anymore and didn't get along with management. The Skins got a very good player who's on the downside of his career. I would have liked to get more but this is probably the best deal we could have gotten. Time to build from the ground up. I like Taylor a lot and hope he does well. |

As a jets fan...yeah I know...I'm Thrilled to get Taylor our of the AFCE. Maybe we can beat the fins twice again in 08  ...they did get a good deal from the skins though, I agree with dedstrk. |
